Crisis Communications:
When a crisis unfolds, every message matters.
A critical incident. An organizational controversy. A major emergency. A high-profile event.
In those moments, your organization’s words, timing, and tone can either build trust or damage it fast.
This engaging, fast-paced two-day Crisis Communications course gives public safety professionals, government leaders, public information officers, school administrators, fire and EMS personnel, and other public-sector communicators the practical tools to communicate clearly when the pressure is highest.
Through real-world examples, interactive discussions, hands-on writing exercises, and realistic mock news conference scenarios, participants will learn how to deliver timely, credible, and effective messages across traditional and digital media.
You will learn how to:
Whether you communicate on behalf of public safety, a school district, local government, state agency, or another public organization, this course will give you tools you can use immediately.
You will leave with the confidence, strategies, and practical experience to communicate effectively when your community needs trusted leadership most.
