Public Safety Recruiting in the Digital Age

Course Overview:

This is a closed session for the organization who curated the training event. Please head back to our course schedule page to explore our open sessions.

An effective digital recruitment strategy goes well beyond posting about recruitment events. It is a blueprint that sees every social media post a department makes as having value in attracting quality candidates. Where telling your agency’s story matters both when you’re actively recruiting and when you’re not. It's seeing your website as a window into a candidate’s potential employer. And when a department is actively recruiting, ensuring social media campaigns are strategic and the application process is digital and simple are keys to turning clicks into candidates.

This engaging training covers:

  • Through the Eyes of the Candidate: Social Media Tells a Story
  • Content that Sets a Department Apart
  • Digital Recruitment Campaigns: From Branding to Better Engagement
  • Less Links, More Clicks
  • Your Website is Suspect

Seating is limited, so don't miss this opportunity to elevate your recruitment skills and make an impact for your department. This training is hosted by the City of Fairfax Police Department, located about 30 minutes west of Washington, D.C.

About the instructor:
