This two-day course prepares public safety supervisors, PIOs, government leaders, and communications professionals to lead messaging when a crisis strikes, whether it is a critical incident or a controversy.

Nelly brings over 25 years of experience in public safety and crisis communications, including her leadership as public & governmental affairs director for the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. A former forensic scientist turned award-winning strategic communicator, she now oversees operations and strategy at JPC. Nelly has trained leaders nationwide and serves as PR Chair for the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, as well as an active member of IACP.

Registration Transfer Policy
We understand that schedules change for busy public safety professionals. Purchased tickets are transferable to another student, or the registered person may apply the registration fee to another JPC course anywhere in the country within 24 months of the original scheduled course.
Course Cancellation Policy
While rare, Julie Parker Communications might need to cancel a scheduled program. We strive to make this decision at least fourteen days before the training date(s) and promptly inform all registered participants. If JPC must cancel a course, your registration fee will be reimbursed. However, please note that JPC cannot be held accountable for any financial losses resulting from cancellations or alterations in travel arrangements.
Photo/Audio/Video Release
