You didn’t join law enforcement to become a public speaker, but leadership in today’s world means knowing how to command a room, inspire confidence, and communicate clearly under pressure.
Julie Parker Communications presents Public Speaking for Public Safety Professionals, a powerful one-day training in the San Francisco Bay Area designed to help sharpen your communication skills for any setting, from community meetings and press conferences to ceremonies and council presentations. Through engaging instruction, interactive exercises, and personalized feedback from an experienced public speaking instructor, participants will gain the tools and confidence to deliver impactful, authentic messages that resonate with any audience.
Training topics include:
Let us help you unlock your public speaking potential and elevate your communication skills. Our in-depth training will equip you with the skills and, perhaps most importantly, the practice in a low-risk environment, to better bring the messages of your agency to the community it serves.
Obtain time-tested tools from a communications instructor who is an expert in managing the message, Angela Ingram.
Angela brings over 20 years of experience as a broadcast journalist to her senior communications strategist position at Julie Parker Communications. Previously, she served as the communications coordinator for the Forest Hills School District in Ohio and the communications director for the Louisville Metro Police Department in Kentucky. She led crisis communications for significant events, including the COVID-19 pandemic, a high-profile school board election, a mass shooting at a major city bank, and the arrest of a world-renowned golfer. Additionally, Angela trains public safety and government officials in crisis response, media, and social media strategies. She's also a creative digital content creator.
JPC will send certificates to those who complete the training.
